Payment and Shipping Information

The following conditions apply:

A. Shipping costs and information:
Standard shipping of goods is only possible to the countries listed below. Depending on the size of your order, shipping will be via DPD, DHL or GLS. The applicable shipping costs can be found in the table below.
1. Germany
2. Austria
3. Italy
4. Poland
If you wish to ship to another country, please send us an e-mail (info@babyhafen.de) before placing an order and tell us the item with the quantity and the delivery address with the country and the corresponding postal code. We will then inform you shortly whether we can also ship to the desired country and – if delivery to the desired delivery address is possible – inform you of the shipping costs, as we have to inquire about the shipping options and costs from our shipping partner in advance.
I. Shipping within Germany:
For shipping within the German mainland
-For orders up to 49.99 - Shipping costs 4.99€
-Free shipping for orders over 50€.
-We do not charge an island surcharge for shipping to German islands.
II.Shipping outside Germany
We deliver to the following countries:
– Austria
The shipping costs to Austria are:
-up to 5 kg. – 11.99 Euros and
-up to 15 kg. – 17.99 Euros per order.
– Italy
The shipping costs to Italy are:
–0-2 kg -17.99€
–2-5 kg -19.99€
–5-10 kg -21.99€
–10-15 kg -22.99€
–15-25 kg - 29.99€
– Poland
–0-5 kg -12.99€
–5-10 kg -15.49€
–10-15 kg -17.39€
–15-25 kg - 23.99€

Additional information:

  • Information on calculating the delivery date The delivery period begins, for payment in advance by bank transfer, on the day after the payment order is issued to the transferring credit institution, or, for other payment methods, on the day after the conclusion of the contract, and ends with the expiry of the last day of the period. If the last day of the period falls on a Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday recognized by the state at the place of delivery, the next working day shall take the place of such a day.
  • Parcel handover to our logistics partners takes place exclusively on working days. No delivery on Sundays and public holidays.
  • Shipping costs (including statutory VAT).
Delivery restrictions:
  • Delivery is only in household quantities.
  • Orders can only be placed by individuals 18 years of age or older.

B. Payment information: I. For shipping within Germany

For deliveries within Germany, we offer the following payment options, unless otherwise specified in the respective product description: 1. Advance payment by bank transfer 2. PayPal Express Checkout 3. PayPal 4. Purchase on account with PayPal 5. Credit card with PayPal 6. Klarna In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we offer the following payment options. Payment is made to Klarna in each case:
  • Invoice: The payment period is 14 days from the shipment of the goods/ticket/or, for other services, the provision of the service. The invoice terms for invoice purchase for deliveries to Germany can be found here and for deliveries to Austria here.
  • Installment purchase (only available in Germany): With Klarna's financing service, you can pay for your purchase flexibly in monthly installments of at least 1/24 of the total amount (but at least EUR 6.95) or under the other conditions specified in the checkout. Installment payments are due at the end of each month after Klarna sends a monthly invoice. Further information on installment purchase, including the general terms and conditions and the European standard information for consumer credit, can be found here.
  • Credit card (Visa/ Mastercard), direct debit, instant transfer
The use of the payment methods requires a positive credit check. In this respect, we forward your data to Klarna during the initiation of the purchase and the processing of the purchase contract for the purpose of address and credit assessment. Please understand that we can only offer you those payment methods that are permissible based on the results of the credit check. Your personal data will be handled by Klarna in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations and as stated in Klarna's privacy policy for Germany/ Austria. II. For shipping outside Germany For deliveries outside Germany, we offer the following payment options, unless otherwise specified in the respective product description: 1. Advance payment by bank transfer Transfer the invoice amount to our bank account conveniently within 7 days, stating the purpose of payment. We will send you our bank details and the transfer details by e-mail as part of the order processing. 2. PayPal Express Checkout 3. PayPal 4. Purchase on account with PayPal 5. Credit card with PayPal If you select a payment method offered by PayPal, the payment will be processed via the payment service provider PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter: "PayPal"), subject to the PayPal terms of use, viewable at https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/useragreement-full or – if the customer does not have a PayPal account – subject to the terms for payments without a PayPal account, viewable at https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacywax-full. If the customer pays using a PayPal payment method selectable during the online ordering process, the seller hereby declares acceptance of the customer's offer at the time the customer clicks the button that completes the ordering process. 6.
